Custom shapes (logo silhouettes via die-casting), brand-color Pantone matching across enamel+plating+ribbon, UV-printed variable attendee data (names, companies, QR codes). Free design in 24 hours.

What Separates a Great Event Medal From a Giveaway Trinket

Event medals are brand artifacts — they represent your organization long after the event ends. These four factors determine whether your medal gets displayed on a desk or tossed in a drawer.

01

Custom Shapes Beyond the Circle

Your logo silhouette sculpted in zinc alloy. A building outline for the corporate HQ. A product shape for the launch event. A guitar silhouette for the music festival. Zinc alloy die-casting at 385°C flows into intricate mold cavities to produce virtually any 2D form — something stamping simply cannot do. Minimum 2mm wall thickness applies everywhere. Complex shapes with narrow sections or internal cutouts may require multi-part molds (higher tooling cost). Our designers flag any geometry issues during the free design review — before mold steel is cut. The result: a medal that is unmistakably yours, not a generic circle with a logo printed on it.

02

Brand Color Matching — Pantone Precision

Your brand has specific colors. Pantone 287 C blue, not 'close to blue.' Pantone 186 C red, not 'reddish.' We stock base enamel colors and mix to your exact Pantone specification — fresh per batch, never pre-mixed from inventory. This applies across enamel + plating + ribbon, all three coordinated to the same color reference. Color formulations are archived in your account. When you reorder for next year's conference or annual gala, the colors match exactly. For brands with critical color standards, we offer physical swatch samples for pre-production approval. This is the difference between 'event merchandise' and 'brand merchandise.'

03

UV Printing for Personalization at Scale

Full-color CMYK printed directly onto the metal surface, then instantly UV-cured — no drying time, no smudging. Variable data from your Excel or CSV file: each attendee's name, company, job title, table number, or a unique QR code linking to their event photos or digital certificate. UV printing is faster than enamel for personalized content because it does not require individual enamel-filling per piece. Setup involves data programming (one-time fee), then the printing runs automatically. Ideal for corporate events where 100+ attendees each receive a uniquely marked award. Combined with a shared mold design, this gives you personalization without per-person mold costs.

04

Conference-Proof Deadlines — 15 Years, Zero Misses

Event dates are immovable. The conference is on October 15th. The gala is on March 22nd. There is no 'next week.' In 15 years of medal manufacturing, we have never missed an event deadline. How: backward scheduling from your event date with buffer at every stage — design (24h), sample production (7–10 days), bulk production (7–15 days), shipping (calculated per destination). Tell us your event date in your first message — we build the schedule around it, not the other way around. Rush timeline: as fast as 7 days using in-stock molds combined with UV printing for variable data. Contact us early for the best pricing and lowest stress.

Customization Options — Make the Medal Uniquely Yours

Custom Logo Shape

Your company logo, event mascot, or brand icon as the medal silhouette itself — not printed on a circle, but cast as the shape. Zinc alloy die-casting produces virtually any 2D form. Multi-part molds available for complex shapes with internal cutouts.

UV Variable Data (Names, Companies, QR Codes)

Each medal unique: attendee name, company, job title, table number, or scannable QR code. Full-color CMYK UV-printed directly on metal. Data from Excel/CSV. One-time programming setup fee. Faster than laser engraving for color content.

Two-Tone Plating

Gold body with nickel (silver) logo highlights. Or rose gold with black nickel accents. Masking during plating applies two finishes to one medal. The contrast elevates the perceived value significantly for a modest per-unit surcharge.

Bottle Opener Function

A stainless steel opener insert riveted into the medal body — practical and memorable. The post-conference networking accessory built into the award. Popular for trade shows and corporate retreats.

LED Illumination for Evening Galas

Flashing or steady-burn LED behind translucent enamel makes your event logo glow. Ideal for evening award ceremonies, gala dinners, and after-dark festival awards. Battery (CR2032) integrated into medal body, user-replaceable.

Custom Branded Packaging

Velvet pouches, rigid gift boxes, or clear acrylic cases with your event branding. Stage-presentation-ready packaging elevates the award moment. Standard poly bag included. Upgraded packaging quoted separately per style.

Factory-Direct — What That Means for Your Event

No Middleman Markup

Your medals go from our Huizhou factory directly to your event venue or office — no distributor, no promotional products middleman, no event planning agency marking them up 3x. Your per-unit price reflects actual manufacturing cost plus reasonable margin. This is how corporate clients who order 200+ medals annually save 40-60% versus domestic suppliers — and why they keep coming back.

Brand Color Consistency — Archived & Guaranteed

Your Pantone color specs are archived. Your mold is archived. Your ribbon design is archived. When you reorder for next year's event, we retrieve everything. Same brand blue. Same logo relief depth. Same ribbon sheen. The only thing that changes is the date and attendee names. Event planners who order from us annually confirm: batch-to-batch consistency across years is the reason they never shop around.

One Factory, One Responsibility

Mold making, die-casting, polishing, plating, enamel filling, UV printing, laser engraving, ribbon production, assembly, QC, packaging — all 12 steps happen under our roof. When every process is in-house, quality problems have one throat to choke. No 'the plating shop says it is the casting shop's fault.' Just one team accountable for your entire order from first sketch to final delivery.

Event Medal FAQ — Answers From the Factory Floor

Can you make a medal shaped like our company logo?

Yes — that is what zinc alloy die-casting does best. Send your logo in vector format (.AI, .EPS, .PDF). Our mold designers convert it into 3D relief. You will see the result in 3D renderings before any mold is cut. Minimum relief detail: 0.1mm. Minimum wall thickness: 2mm. Very thin elements in logos (fine lines, serif text) may need slight thickening — we flag these during design review and propose alternatives. Custom shapes cost more than circles due to increased mold complexity, but the brand impact justifies the investment.

Can each medal have a different person's name on it?

Yes — two methods. Laser engraving: permanent, high-contrast, names/companies/titles engraved from your Excel roster. UV printing: full-color CMYK, can include names, company logos, QR codes, table numbers. Both methods use variable data from your spreadsheet. Setup involves data programming (one-time fee). Laser is more durable; UV offers more design flexibility with color. Combined with a shared mold design, each attendee receives a uniquely marked medal without individual mold costs.

What if our attendee count changes after we place the order?

We build flexibility into the process. Provide your best estimate when ordering. Need more? Reorders using the same mold take 7-10 days. Need fewer? We adjust the production quantity if your batch has not yet entered production. Communicate changes as early as possible — the earlier we know, the more flexibility we have. For events with uncertain final counts (common with conferences), we recommend ordering at the lower end of your estimate and placing a top-up order once final numbers are confirmed.

Can you match our brand's exact Pantone colors?

Yes — this is standard practice, not an upgrade. Enamel is mixed fresh per batch to your Pantone specification. Ribbon is dyed to the same Pantone reference. Plating finish is selected to complement. Colors are archived in your account for consistent reorders year after year. For brands with critical color standards (corporate identity guidelines), we offer physical swatch samples for approval before bulk production begins.

Our conference is next month — can you deliver in time?

Standard timeline: 3-4 weeks from first contact to medals delivered (24h design, 7-10 days sample, 7-15 days production, plus shipping). Rush timeline: as fast as 7 days plus shipping if we can use an existing mold design and UV printing for personalization instead of enamel. The key variable is whether we need to cut a new custom-shape mold. Tell us your event date in your first message. We will give you an honest feasibility assessment — we have never missed an event deadline in 15 years and we will not start with yours.

Our VIP event has fewer than 100 attendees — can you do a smaller order?

Our standard MOQ is 100 pieces. For smaller VIP events with 50-99 attendees, contact us — we can often accommodate slightly below MOQ on a case-by-case basis, though the per-unit price will be higher. For events under 50 pieces, we recommend exploring our premium material options (brass instead of zinc alloy) and upgraded packaging to maximize the impact of a smaller quantity. The most cost-effective approach for small VIP events: higher per-unit budget on a premium medal that makes a lasting impression.

Can you ship medals directly to our event venue?

Yes — we ship worldwide to event venues, hotels, convention centers, offices, or wherever you need them. Provide the delivery address, contact person, and delivery date. We calculate shipping time backward from your event date and build it into the production schedule. Standard shipping: 5-10 business days. Express: 2-5 business days. Tracking provided. We recommend shipping to arrive 3-5 days before the event as a buffer. For international events, customs clearance time must be factored in — tell us the destination country and we will advise.

Can we have different medal designs for different attendee tiers (VIP vs standard)?

Yes — two approaches. Option A: one mold with different plating per tier (gold for VIP, silver for standard, copper for general admission) and different ribbon colors. Most cost-effective — each tier looks distinct while sharing the same mold. Option B: different designs per tier — higher mold cost but maximum differentiation. Each tier must meet the 100-piece MOQ individually unless the designs are very similar. We will quote both approaches and you choose based on budget and desired differentiation level.
